Grill & Drinks — Modern Australian Dining in Sydney

Zupatkos is a modern Australian grill built around open-flame cooking and seasonal produce. Our kitchen keeps things simple and confident: good ingredients, cooked well, served in a way that’s easy to share. Below is a taste of how we like to eat.

Gloved hand placing a thick cut of raw beef steak onto a smoking hot outdoor grill.

A Seasonal Approach

Our menu changes with what’s good at the market. Cuts, fish and vegetables rotate through the seasons, so there’s always a reason to come back. What stays constant is the grill — and our habit of letting quality produce do the talking.

Made for Sharing

We’re big believers in ordering a few plates for the middle of the table. Start with something small, add a couple of sharing dishes, then build a main or two around the grill. There’s no wrong way to do it.

The Grill

The grill is the centre of the kitchen, and most of the menu passes across it in some form. We keep the categories broad and let the season decide the detail.

  1. Beef — from everyday cuts to something for the table
  2. Chicken — free-range, cooked over flame
  3. Fish — whatever’s best at the market that day
  4. Vegetables — charred, roasted and treated as more than a side
  5. Sharing grill plates — designed to land in the middle and disappear fast

The Feel of the Room

Modern, warm and unmistakably a restaurant. Zupatkos is made for evenings that start with a drink and end without anyone checking the time.
